MetaTrak Pulsar - energy efficient GPS-tracker

MetaTrak Pulsar is the latest miniaturized stand-alone GPS beacon that can be installed anywhere very discreetly. Altough its has a realtime tracking mode which is activated in case of theft, it is primarily conveived to be used as a retrieval system.

Pulsar is MetaSystem's new 100% autonomous and waterproof (IP67) GPS beacon designed to protect mobile objects such as motorbikes, boats or valuable packages/objects.

The mobile application "Pulsar" allows the user to

• Update the position
• Change the frequency of automatic position updates (default 1 x day).
• Activate the "Virtual Garage" function which allows the user to define a zone in order to be warned if the object leaves the defined space (e.g. exit from a hangar).
• In case of theft, launch the "Stealing" mode to activate the tracking in real time.
• View the position history.

Its miniaturised size of 78 (L) x 19 (H) x 42 (W) mm makes it easy to conceal (fixing by screw or adhesive supplied).

Universal use, it runs on its internal batteries and does not require an external power source. Its exceptional autonomy allows it to be used for more than 3 years without changing batteries (depending on use/configuration). With the default setting (sending the location once a day) its batteries last for about 2 years. The batteries are easily replaceable by the user (type CR123 x 2).

Pulsar comes with 3 years of international service and access to the 24-hour monitoring centre in case of theft. This subscription allows the tracker to connect to the official alarm centre, which means that if your motorbike is stolen, the police will intervene, which is not the case with cheap trackers without subscription or with cheap subscriptions. In these cases, you only pay for the tracking services, but the police are not allowed to use this data.
