The linear steering damper CSC (Constant Safety Control) has a more constant damping. The linear damper is very suitable for track use, because there is always a certain amount of damping that is desired. The progressive steering damper RSC (Reactive Safety Control) increases the attenuation when the movement of the wheel is sufficiently large.
A progressive damper is very suitable for street use. At low speeds, you have no damping (you also don’t WANT any damping). When damping is required (tank slappers, road surface irregularities) the damping activated.
Hyperpro is the ultimate reference in progressive springs and damping for motorcycles. Their fork springs, rear springs, shocks, steering dampers and lowering kits increase your riding comfort and improve your safety.
